The trail is a paved path, it is designated as part of the East Coast Greenway. The trail winds for miles through a beautiful blend of trees, with spectacular views of the river. The terrain is slightly hilly. In addition to the wooden bridges, including one covered bridge, there is a 700-foot boardwalk through the marsh and wetlands near Clark Park.
From Fayetteville take Ramsey St./ US-401 north. Take a right on Sherman Dr. and follow in to Clark Park. Trail head is located at the NW corner of the parking lot.<br /><br />
